Student’s Write – Up Corner

I’m Jamuddin Beldar – BMS 2014 – 2017 Batch, I’m currently an Investment Banker in Morgan Stanley and have been working as an Associate in Institutional Equity Division under Global Market. It gives me immense pride in calling that I’ve graduated from OCCM, Mumbai. Being from BMS 14-17 batch, OCCM gave me not only a good management knowledge to be proficient in my career but also gave me confidence to excel in every aspect of life. I have seen this college growing and grooming every single day because of this highly ambitious and committed Professors. It is their courage, hard work and patience which have helped in producing bright students who have done well in their respective careers. I have seen many of my batch mates who have reached extreme heights in their career and have established their names in their respective fields. This college has worked as a navigator in paving ways for my career and eventually my life. Today I can proudly say that the 3 years that I spent in this college were the best years of my life. I’m honoured to be a part of OCCM. All thanks to our respected Principal and Professors, without them it would not have been possible to tread such a great path. Going forward I wish OCCM to keep reaching greater heights as always.

This is Siddhant Dwivedi an ex student of Oriental college of commerce and management, currently I m working with an event management firm named as The Bucketlist advertising Pvt Ltd as an Assistant manager in operations department which deals in planning and execution of corporate events and strategic building for our clients in fields of market and research.My office is located in Lotus Corporate park Goregaon East.

Respected Teachers ,

I would like to share my overall feedback from both the quantitative and qualitative way which is moderate to high levels of satisfaction with the quality of teaching, instruction, learning and student engagement; with students being less (but nevertheless still) positive about workloads, assessments, outcomes and available or assigned resources.

Many responses indicated that I felt the lecturers were knowledgeable, skilled, enthusiastic, committed, and prepared. Comments were also typically made concerning lecturers’ willingness and ability of effective teaching methods and incorporate various learning materials, resources and technologies into teaching in ways that enhance student’s learning. I would also like to add that lecturers provide prompt and great effective learning methods on the academic work, treat students in a collegial manner, and are available when students require assistance.
